Hi, I’m Romina! A Chilean sound designer, violinist and lifelong learner based in Canada.
I’ve been developing my game audio skills through courses, game jams and freelance projects, working as both a sound designer and composer.
I love exploring new sounds by combining my acoustic violin with effects pedals.
One of my favourite parts of the creative process is collaborating and jamming with other artists and developers.
Below, you’ll find my Demo Reel (Sound Design + Wwise Implementation) and the game jams I’ve participated in so far. Selected sample tracks and other projects can be found in the menu in the top right. 😁🧉
Implementation: Wwise (RTPCs, Switch/Random Containers, Game Parameter mapping).
Sound Design: Original field recordings, Synthesis (Vital), and GDC Library.
DAW: Reaper.
The project demonstrates a full-cycle audio pipeline, from custom asset creation to dynamic implementation.
🎧 Tools: DAW Reaper, Rode NT1, Zoom H4, Vital Synth, Soundly sound library
The fight between Vi and Sevika in the bar is full of sonic information. I wanted to do my own sound redesign: an exercise where I designed all the sound effects from scratch, replacing the original audio to explore how sound can further enhance the scene's visual narrative. Full sound redesign: impacts, foley, and mixing done by me.
🎬 Original scene: Arcane — Episode 9 (Netflix / Riot Games / Fortiche)
🎧Sound Design: Foley, Synthesis (Surge XT), and Soundly Library.
DAW: Reaper.
A sound redesign of a scene from Cardcaptor Sakura, featuring a blend of custom Foley recording, curated library sounds via Soundly, and synthesized elements designed in Surge XT. All mixed and edited in Reaper.
